    After I ate dinner I walked over to my friend Hope's house to hang out. When I got to her driveway I checked my cell phone to see if I had gotten any messages from her. But I didn't even get even one bar of reception.    This is wierd, I thought to myself, I usually get a strong signal here.     I ignored it and continued to walk up the driveway. When I got to her front door and knocked, her mother opened the door.     "Welcome, come on in," she told me. "Hope's still out, if you were wondering. She'll be here in a few minutes."     "Okay," I replied. "Thanks for letting me know. I tried to message her but I lost signal on my phone."

It feels like a dream. None of that really happened, right? It must be a dream. How else could I have punished myself like this? I just want to curl back into a ball underneath my sheets. Why should I be pushed into leaving this haven and be punished when I don't? What's so great about the Hell called Earth and the nightmare called life? If this is life, I'll say goodbye. It seems that nobody can leave each other alone. Even when somebody begs and pleads to be alone. I look into the mirror in front of me.
